Jennifer had contacted me to capture their special day. When we started talking, I started getting more and more excited for this day to come.
This wasn't the big traditional wedding with 300 to 500 guests, and that's what made me stoked about this whole thing.
Jennifer and JJ don't live in Michigan. They came and rented a BNB on Forest Lake where JJ's parents reside. Jennifer decorated and planned the whole thing!!! ON TOP of being the bride!! I was SO shocked when I showed up to see the BEAUTIFUL layout, floral, and everything that she did HERSELF(for the most part).
I was welcomed with open arms from all of their close relatives that were there.
As a matter of fact, this couple had asked me to join them while they were eating! I have NEVER sat with my clients guests to eat, let alone the bride and groom! I will have to admit, I really enjoyed it a lot!
The smile, glow and vibe these guys give off each other was incredible! Her smile was just glowing the whole day! You could just see the PURE HAPPINESS!
When I went to the grooms place first, I remember him saying he feels great and is SO excited for that day! You could just see the love between both of them, even when they weren't next to each other hand-in-hand.
This was my first wedding that was near home and not hours away. I really enjoyed having a "hometown" wedding. I loved intimacy that was there for this wedding also. It wasn't "rushed". It was simply pleasurable to everyone. To top it off, she wanted Mexican food too (my kinda girl)!!! Like, YUM!
It was seriously SO enjoyable to capture your special day.
You two are absolutely beautiful together and glow so bright with them beautiful smiles you guys have.
Thank you for choosing me to be a part of your day. Thank you for treating me as if I was a close relative that was there celebrating with you. Thank you for saying "Well we can be the first" when I had said I don't usually sit with my clients to eat. It really made me feel special.
